On the occasion of Sharad Purnima, people lit lamps at the Gagangiri Maharaj Ashram at Manori Island, in Malad (West), on Monday. Sharad Purnima or Kojaagari Purnima is a harvest festival celebrated on the full moon day of the Hindu lunar month of Ashwin (September–October). It marks the end of the monsoon.
