World’s biggest moth at SGNP

The Atlas moth, which is the world's biggest moth, was spotted on a tree at the Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Also known as the ‘snake’s head moth’ for its cobra-like forewing, its wingspan stretches up to 30cm and it lives only for 12 days.
